Formalin is 37 v/v % of formaldehyde gas absorbed in water. It is a pungent smelling toxic liquid. Formalin is mainly used by plywood industries for making adhesive resins. It is also used by laminate manufacturers, MDF making, Dyestuff, Pentaerythritol, Hexamine etc.
